ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

AUGUST 11, 2010

4:45P.M.          Called meeting to order. Present: Paula B. Keefe, Richard B.

                        Gorden and Mark J. Mazur.

1.   The Board reviewed an approval notice for special state permission, under

      M.G.L. Chapter 58 Section 8, to abate Fiscal Year 2007 through Fiscal

      Year 2009 taxes on a property now owned by the Town of Sharon.

2.   The Board granted abatements for Parcel # 39-108 under the authority of

      M.G.L. Chapter 58 Section 8 for Fiscal Year 2007, 2008 and 2009. The

      Fiscal Year 2009 abatement was also granted under the authority of M.G.L.

      Chapter 59 Section 72A.

3.   The Board reviewed and then signed notices of Pro Forma tax liability, for

      Parcel # 77-88, for Fiscal Year 2010 and 2011.

4.   The Board approved the hiring of G & K Associates to help update our

      personal property assessments for Fiscal Year 2011.

5.   Director of Finance, William Fowler, discussed various Town financial

      issues with the Board.

6.   The Board decided to hold their next Board meeting at 7:15P.M. on

      Thursday, September 2, 2010.
